We love dashing Dashboards!
We’ve released a slew of new features yesterday (head on over to our Strategy & Support Center for the complete release notes) thanks to another biscuit-fueled round of hard work by our agile development super force (also often called software engineers), but the biggest of them all is definitely our new Dashboard.
It shows by customizable date range your total sales, Average Selling Price (ASP) or quantity sold (among other things) so that you can determine where you sell the most volume or generate your highest margins.
We capture a lot of data on our customer’s behalf throughout the order life cycle: product attributes, inventory stock levels, channels, buyer information, payment data, keywords, tracking pixels, transaction logs (where everything is moving to and what’s it doing there), and all of that for millions of items and sales. Much of this data is critical to an online retailer’s business strategy — if you don’t know what your most profitable products and channels are then this flying blind will almost certainly end bad.
And while we offer a broad range of tools to our online retailers today to process or report this critical data (using CSV files, FTP transfer, WebMethods integration or our Developer Network), you will see an even stronger focus this year on on-demand, cross-channel data analysis and reporting where and when you need it the most: while making multi-channel merchandising decisions within ChannelAdvisor Complete.
PS: Rumor has it that Tank bet an undisclosed amount on Eli Manning winning this year’s Super Bowl.
