Word Analysis of Google’s Earnings Call?
# Mentions of the following words:
Search: About 2 dozen mentions in various forms of the word
Google Checkout: 5 (+2 more if you count the Q&A)
AdWords: 2
AdSense: 2 (+2 more if you count the Q&A)
Google Base: 0 (???) You’d think someone would have mentioned this at least once.
Microsoft: 0
Yahoo!: 0
Couple of notes:
- Do you think Microsoft and Yahoo! would have zero mentions of Google on its call?
- Not one mention of Google Base? Even Docs & Spreadsheets and Google Gadget got mentions :-)

Want to know why Google is crushing Microsoft? The first thing Bill Gates talks about is Vista, not search.
